Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Position Summary

HR Alliance seeking an Senior HR Business Partner to join our Corporate Solutions team in Latin America. The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a member of the account’s Latin America Regional Leadership team to deliver a best-in-class talent management platform.


 Essential Functions

  • Partner with regional senior executives and management to develop and drive plans that optimize talent, structure, process and culture
  • Partner with the global HR team in creating a true global talent platform, including ensuring programs are successful and legally compliant within Latin America and leading the execution of platform programs within region
  • Flawless execution and delivery of value-added HR services, including but not limited to:  talent acquisition, performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, training and development, and project management
  • Act as single point of contact for HR-related processes, issues/questions for assigned clients
  • Develop strategic staffing plans and provide recruiting support to the account team
  • Partner and collaborate with all levels of management and leadership to:
    • Effectively address performance gaps
    • Develop processes that engage and inspire employees at all levels
    • Diagnose organizational issues and partner with them to provide solutions
  • Ensure equity in compensation process
  • Deep understanding of contract key performance indicators, reporting requirements and client expectations


Minimum Required Certifications, Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree with major concentration in HR or business-related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role for Latin America, including experience as a specialist in one of the following core HR disciplines: talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, employee relations, learning or compensation
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Portuguese is desired
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience in Corporate Real Estate and/or Consumer Products industries
  • Experience with HR management and labor law and legal procedures in Latin America, especially in emerging markets of Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, is required
  • Able to navigate complexity of Latin America market and strong business acumen
  • Ample experience in sourcing and recruitment in different countries in Latin America
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven organization
  • Ability to present data in an organized manner
  • Experience in managing projects and budgets across multiple countries with tight deadlines
  • Experience in  goal setting, creation and monitoring KPIs as tools for business results
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude and contagious team building spirit that drives organizations to  high impact goals through continuous quick wins and progress reviews without losing sight of the big picture (strategy vs execution)

  • Ability to perform as a trusted advisor; build and maintain partnerships at all levels and ability to coach and influence senior management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively deliver presentations
  • High level skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT) required
  • Travel will be roughly 10%
  • This position will be located in Latin America
